It was a tiring day for me today. I had to run errands. I have to buy flowers for my dad who is on vacation in heaven right now. I was haggling the price of flowers at the Freedom Flower Park near our school. This has been my 5th year on a row of buying flowers for my dad. It was a great market. Lots of flowers were available. One flower got my attention its the "Lilium philippinense" or just Lilium it was for 200 pesos one branch of 3 flowers.

But whats interesting about this beautiful flower is its scent. It smells like a perfume. Its scent is very peculiar and lingering. I wonder if there are perfumes or colognes made out of its extracts. This flower is found in the Philippines only. It grows in Baguio.

Happy Halloween!

Hi Ethelbert, This is a beautiful lily and one I had hoped to grow in my garden in Cebu. Do you think it might be only suited to the cool climate of Baguio? I does smell so exotic.
